Kramer was banned from Joe’s for trying to return a bad peach. The IOC made a statement last week as 30 athletes were banned from the Olympics for "getting caught" taking "illegal" performance enhancing drugs. There wasn’t much of an uproar from either, as they both were aware that there exist consequences for their actions.

As Tevya crooned in Fiddler on the Roof, and Don Cherry evangelizes on Coach’s Corner, fighting in hockey is tradition, and you don’t mess with tradition. Now, I’m about as old fashioned as they come, and many a day have a case of the "good ‘ole days syndrome" myself, but, I am starting to actually think that enough is enough already!

Just imagine being glued to the television for as many as five or six games, similar to the two classic Canada vs. USA match ups we just witnessed. Now that was hockey. Oh, this idea has got cachet baby, it’s got cachet up the ying-yang!

If Tiger never had the brains to look to the advice of a caddy so he wouldn’t have ended up in this mess in the first place, perhaps Elin will learn from his mistakes, and seek the guidance of someone experienced in prioritizing the needs of the children, because after that, nothing really else matters.
