The Hotdog Hockey Post will publish six issues for the '08-'09 hockey season.  The editorial calendar for advertising artwork submissions is as follows:

Magazine ad technical specifications:

Full Page Covers: (Bleed) 11.25"x11.25" / (Live) 11"x11"

Full Page: (Live) 10"x9.642"

Half Page Horizontal: (Live) 10"x4.571"

Half Page Vertical: (Live) 4.75"x9.642"

Quarter Page: (Live) 4.75"x4.571"

Ad material should be supplied in digital format, as PDF, JPEG, TIFF, or EPS files suitable for commercial printing.  Minimum resolution should be 300dpi at actual size. 

Macintosh QuarkXpress, Macromedia FreeHand, Adobe - InDesign, Illustator, Photoshop and Acrobat files are supported.  Type, art and design is available based at $75 per hour.

Website banner ad technical specifications:

The leaderboard ad measures 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels high.

The ad can either be static (just an image) or Flash (animated).

Static ad: Can not exceed 40KB in file size.  Ideal file format is a save for web JPEG.

Flash ad: Can not exceed 40KB in file size.  Please supply an .swf file, as well as an animated .gif (also can not exceed 40KB in size) for those users who do not have flash on their computers.  Within the flash file, there must be a click through tag on the button for our ad system to recognize it: on (release) {getURL(clickTag, "_blank");}
